Matthew Matt James was conceived in North Carolina, on the 5th of December 1991. Matthew Matt James was a mixed-race child of Manny James (of Jamaican descent) as well as Patty James. He is the son of Nigerian as is his mother caucasian-American. His father is Nigerian and his mother caucasian American. He graduated from Sanderson High School in 2010 and then attended Wake Forest University, where earned a bachelor's degree in Economics in the year 2015. James gained fame when he appeared on The Bachelorette as a reality TV celebrity. He was selected in 2020 to become the bachelor for season 25 of The Bachelor, becoming the first African American lead. The series premiered in on the 20th of January in. James is a great fit for this role as is tall, beautiful and funny. Rachael Krokconnell won the competition because James decided to enter into an intimate relationship with her. He joined forces with famous dancer Arnold in 2021 to compete in the 30th season of Dancing with the Stars. James and Arnold placed 12th.
