Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is an Romanian TV presenter and actress. She is best known for her role as the lead in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control, and Rush. She was the sole child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu, Alexandra started her career in show business in the early years of her life. At the age of 16, she reached the age of sixteen, she had secured leading roles in several TV dramas. Her critically acclaimed performance in the made-for-television film Der Tunnel paved way for many other noteworthy roles, including Adolf Hitler's secretary Traudl Junge from the commercially and critically popular Oscar nominated historical war drama film Downfall. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex as well as The Reader are also Oscar-nominated movies featuring this beautiful diva. Alexandra's career has seen her be involved in a variety of notable international and national projects.
