Maggie Grace, born Margaret Grace Denig on September 21 the 21st of September 1983 in Worthington Ohio is an American actress. She is famous for playing Shannon Rutherford and Kim Mills respectively in ABC's Lost television show. Originating from Worthington Ohio, she quit high school to move to Los Angeles with her mother after her parents divorce. The actress landed her first part in the film, Rachel's Room's main character in 2001 despite struggling with finances. In 2002 she was nominated to receive a Young Artist Award with her character as a 15 year old murder victim Martha Moxley. Grace Rutherford was the character Shannon Rutherford for Lost's first two seasons in 2004 and was awarded with her a Screen Actors Guild Award (with other cast members) with her. After leaving the show, Grace wanted to appear as a film actress, and had been cast as the opposite of Tom Welling in The Fog in 2005.
